Running for those suffering from addictions
The 14th Annual Sobriety Run and Camp hosted by NNDAP (National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program) in the communities of Piikani, Siksika and Kainai is underway. This is the second day of the run to Piikani Nation, more than 220 km.
The runners are expected to be to be in Fort MacLeod by 1 p.m. and then they head back to Piikani Crowlodge Park by 6 p.m.
Participants run for the communities, they run for unity, they run for those who can't, they run for prayers, they run for those who are sick, and they run for those suffering from addictions.
