Deadline has announced that Kaniehtiio Horn (Kahnawake Mohawk), star of Moccasin Flats and Letterkenny, with appearances in Reservation Dogs, has named the cast of her directorial debut Seeds, currently in production in Ontario.
Graham Greene, Patrick Garrow, Dalla Goldtooth, Meegwun Fairbrother and Dylan Cook star with Horn. She plays the character Ziggy, an online influencer promoting the seed and fertilizer company called Nature’s Oath.
Not only does Horn star in the comedy, she writes, directs and produces.
“When her cousin summons her back to the rez, she is forced into a battle to save her people’s legacy, finding her power along the way,” reads the Deadline report.
